Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluates patients and develops a plan of treatment intended to decrease limitations from injury or disease and to maximize independent living skills to the extent possible for discharge to the least restrictive environment.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
In-depth knowledge of human growth and development, human anatomy and physiology, neuroanatomy, neurophysiology and occupational theory
Knowledge of and ability to apply appropriate occupational therapy techniques
Knowledge of disease processes and injuries which impair occupational performance while considering ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic influences on an individual
Demonstrated skills in collaboration, teamwork and problem-solving to achieve goals
Demonstrated skills in verbal communication and listening
Demonstrated skills in providing excellent service to customers
Ability to recognize the importance of the involvement of patients and family in plan of care

Exposure to Hazardous Chemicals or Substances and/or Infection:
