QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in Insurance Authorizations to include Medicaid and private insurers
• Understanding of medial terminology related to Home Health
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to use computer systems such as Microsoft Office
• Good typing abilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process patient intake information
• Manage patient authorizations as determined by managed care providers (Medicaid) or private health insurance
• Prepare and submit insurance claim forms properly
• Ensure medical service documentation are accurate and timely
• Verify patient information
• Other office duties as needed.
