Registered Nurse (RN) – Supervisor (OR) – Eagle Pass

 
We have an immediate need for a licensed Registered Nurses (RN) who are seeking a full-time position working in hospital surgery department.

Job Description

As a Registered nurse (RN) you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing patient care plans in accordance with federal, state and professional standards governing the facility and their discipline.

Specific Duties

• Manage patients admitted or being seen for medical conditions or surgical procedures
• Supervise and guide RN’s in assessing, planning, guiding, and evaluating nursing care provided to patients.
• Provide care to pediatric and geriatric patients
• Assist with inventory and maintenance of surgical equipment
• Ensure surgical operating team needs are met
• Assist in patient care during surgical procedures

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing
• At least 1 year of experience
• Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Texas or compact state
• BLS
• ACLS within 6 months of hire
• PALS within 6 months of hire
